A big happy 1st birthday going out to a handsom little guy who just has the greatest faces for me! Can't wait to watch JJ and his sister Abi grow up! Aren't they just adorable!?!

So my momma is crafty. And by crafty, I mean to say she can make anything out of anything! (anyone remember the astronaut suit out of women's capris, a mans dress shirt and a grocery store cake container taped to my bike helmet? dead ringer for neil armstrong!) I had a maxi dress I didn't love so much (who adores a maxi dress in reality? I mean when you put one on you feel like a princess for a couple of minutes, and then you realize why we ladies elected to raise our hemlines in the roarin' 20's.... ITS HOT under there!) but couldn't bear to part with, given the awesome print! I contemplated creating a drawstring skirt out of it, but I have never really been fond of those either..... So I enlisted momma's help! She whipped that amazing print into the cutest knee length elastic band skirt ever! (and btw, the current trend of the mico mini elastic band skirt... gals, if can't bend down to retrieve your pocketbook for fear of everyone seeing france, ITS TOO SHORT!) So... my momma fixed me up and this is my little tribute to her awesome-ness!

Hooray for Amber! She will be graduating from White Knoll High in June! Mike and I are so proud of you gal!

Over spring break I had the privilege of photographing the lovely miss Christine Lacey! She is going to be graduating in a week from Coastal Carolina University!!! I am so extremely proud of her!
